This was a first home purchase for us. Despite all of the headaches and hoops we had to jump through, Anthony and Erin made the process as easy as possible. We first met Anthony at an open house for a house that we ultimately did not get. Despite not getting that first house, Anthony continued to work with us, trying to find other great matches in the area that met our needs. When we finally found a great property, Anthony really went to bat for us, trying to get the best deal as possible and putting our priorities at the forefront. He was always available to answer questions (and there were a lot of them), and never begrudgingly. We are very happy with his level of knowledge, communication, cooperation, and professionalism. And in those moments when Anthony was not available, Erin stepped in to keep the process moving and continue to answer our questions.

Unfortunately, my experience with Arrive Real Estate, specifically Anthony and Erin, has been extremely frustrating after closing. During the purchase of our home, we specifically raised concerns about the existing solar system and were assured that the solar transfer and everything related to it would be taken care of as part of the closing process. We were also told that Escrow Edge had worked through the solar issue with an attorney from Spruce Power and that everything necessary had been taken care of in order for us to close. Based on those assurances, we moved forward believing the solar situation had been properly handled. We closed on the home at the end of March. I have now personally been dealing with Spruce Power since May 1 trying to get everything straightened out, and nearly five months later, the solar account is STILL not in my name. On top of that, the solar monitoring equipment in the home is stuck on “BOOTING,” I cannot properly monitor the system, and I am now trying to determine whether the system is even producing correctly while significant NEM energy charges continue accumulating on my SCE account. What I cannot understand is how a home with an existing solar agreement can make it all the way through escrow and closing, with the buyer being told the solar situation had been addressed with the escrow company and Spruce Power’s attorney, only for us to spend months afterward trying to figure out why the account was never transferred and whether the system is even functioning correctly. Buying a home is a huge transaction. Issues involving an existing solar agreement should not simply become the buyer’s problem after the keys are handed over. We specifically raised this before closing and relied on Anthony, Erin, Arrive Real Estate, and the other professionals involved in the transaction when we were told it was being handled. Had we known we would still be fighting to get the solar account transferred nearly five months after closing, while also questioning whether the system is operating correctly, we absolutely would have handled this differently before agreeing to close
